CanDo Integration

Connected buildings, designed to work as one.

We connect heating, lighting, access control, and the network, so the building can be run as one system after handover.

Schematic — one building, one system

Three trades, three separate systems

Network, access, and building services usually come from different firms, at different times, each with its own documentation. Everything works on its own, but nobody can run the building as a whole.

Every system brings its own app

Lighting in one app, access in another, heating in a manual nobody opens.

A fault starts with finding the firm

Four trades, four phone numbers. Most of the time goes into finding out who is responsible.

The gaps surface at the next refit

Which reader is on which cable? Without documentation, the next refit starts from scratch.

Services

Every project is built from the same three services. The network comes first, because the other two run on it.

  • Network / Wi-Fi

Cabling and Wi-Fi for the rest of the building to run on.

    What we install
Cabling, Wi-Fi, and separate networks for different uses, all documented.
    What you get
One network that carries access control and building systems, instead of each bringing its own.
  • Access Control

Who can enter which door, and when.

    What we install
Readers, door hardware, and permissions, with documentation of how everything is set up.
    What you get
A clear record of who can enter, linked to heating, lighting, and the network where that makes sense.
  • Integrating existing building systems

Heating, lighting, and other existing plant, connected so they can be run together.

    What we install
We connect the heating, lighting, and other systems already in place and fill the gaps. Nothing gets replaced just for the sake of it.
    What you get
Existing plant you can operate together. What works stays, what is missing gets added.

How we work

One team from the first site visit through to maintenance.

  1. 01

    Understand

The building, what already runs, who will operate it — before anything is drawn.

What you have afterwards: A written survey and a list of requirements.

  2. 02

    Design

What to connect, what to add, what to leave in place.

What you have afterwards: Plan, scope, and quote — before the first cable.

  3. 03

    Deliver

Install on site, hand over, document.

What you have afterwards: As-built drawings, credentials, and an on-site briefing.

  4. 04

    Support

    Maintenance and changes after handover.

What you have afterwards: A care package with one team to call.

Care for plant that is already running

After handover we stay responsible for what we installed: regular maintenance, fault repair, and changes when something in the building changes.

Care
Planned visits to the installed plant: inspect, adjust, document.
Incident response
Diagnose and restore when plant CanDo looks after fails.
Adjustments
Change something after handover: a door, a Wi-Fi SSID, a heating circuit — on the existing plant.

Use cases

Four kinds of projects we see often. The services are the same; the buildings and the people who run them are not.

Questions

Is building automation a separate service?
No. It is what you get when the three services work together: access control, network and Wi-Fi, and connecting existing building systems.
Do you only work in Rheinland-Pfalz?
Rheinland-Pfalz is the primary region. Larger commercial projects can run throughout Germany.
Do you work on private homes?
Yes, with the same services as in commercial projects. We don't sell off-the-shelf smart-home kits. Most of our work is for construction partners and building operators.

Planning a new build or a refit?

Tell us about the building and what is already installed. We'll suggest what makes sense to connect.
